Maine Furniture Upholstery & Reupholstery

The upholstery process can involve a complete strip down and re-build if necessary, using modern and traditional materials, or a facelift recovering the original fabric with new.

If a piece of furniture has a sound frame and is appreciated for its comfort and style, there is no need to replace it, instead have the item reupholstered. Reupholstering is NOT always the cheapest option, however often times it can be when working with high quality pieces with solid wood structures.

It is more environmentally friendly than buying new! Your furniture will not go to waste and end up in landfill. We offer a collection and delivery service so you will not have to lift a finger. Our network of leading fabric suppliers allows us to offer an extensive range of high quality and durable fabrics all tailor-made to your requirements.

THE PROCESS

We will carefully strip down your furniture and remove all original fabric.

Frame inspection and repair

Step 3.

We will then begin to build the layers back up. Padding and stuffing is checked and replaced where required.

Step 1.

Strip Down

The frame will be inspected and the necessary repairs will be carried out; joints will be tightened, dowelled, glued or screwed depending on what is required.

Step 2.

Once we are happy with the frame, work will begin on the springs and webbing. Any springs and webbing that need replacing will be replaced.
